At the luxury resort “Aquiraz Riviera” in Ceará, Brazil, you will find the first golf course in Ceará, with a total of 18 holes, par 72 in 7322 yards. There are 9 holes at the “Ocean Golf Course” and another 9 at the “Dunes Golf Course”.
Designed by architect Donald Steel, this course showcases nature, maintaining the natural vegetation and minimising earthmoving to take advantage of the undulating terrain as a strategic golfing route.
The Ocean Golf Course is also the first course in Brazil to use Seashore Conquista (Paspalum Vaginatum) for its entire lawn, a native grass from Brazil’s coast.
With a total area of 35 hectares, surrounded by the sea and dunes, as well as by the beautiful landscape of Marambaia beach in Aquiraz, golfers have at their disposal:
