The Dom Pedro Laguna is the cornerstone of the Aquiraz Riviera, an Ecological Luxury Resort, a luxury Eco-resort spread out across approximately 740 acres –143 acres under environmental protection – with 2km of sea coast, only 40 Km from the International Airport of Fortaleza, the state capital of Ceará, in Northeastern Brazil.
Known as the "Land of Light" due to the large number of sunny days, Ceará is located in the Northeastern corner of Brazil, and it is the Brazilian State nearest Europe and North America. It lays very near the Equatorial Line. The closer a place is to the Equatorial Line, the smaller is the temperature amplitude along the year. Temperature ranges from a minimum of 26ºC and 28ºC (between 79ºF and 82ºF). Regarding rainfall, Fortaleza (Ceará State Capital) has two seasons well defined: the second half is very dry, while the first is a little rainy. However it is the capital less rainy throughout the Northeast.
