From May 2009 the Dom Pedro Golf Resort concluded the upgrade to five-star.

Concerned with the environment, the Dom Pedro Hotels introduced innovative technologies to save energy like ice banks, absorption chillers, solar panels as well as waste recycling and water management.

The up grade and refurbishment of the Dom Pedro Golf Resort included rooms, new suites floor, construction of new outdoor pools and kids club as well as the development of a new restaurant concept and branding of it´s SPA "Aquae".
